Local pediatricians are teaming up in a new Pike County Health Department campaign to promote the safety and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines, debunk common vaccine myths and encourage parents and guardians to vaccinate their 12-15 year-old children.

South City Foundation will hold its inaugural Soul of Southside Festival on Thursday, May 20, through Saturday, May 22, at Anita Favors Thompson Plaza at Lake
Anita, 116 W. Van Buren Street.
The Soul of Southside Festival is a free, public arts and humanities festival that will celebrate the rich and diverse history of Tallahassee’s Southside.
This three-day event will feature neighborhood history tours, a youth entrepreneurship expo and pitch competition, food truck and festival vendor expo opportunities, and will culminate with a musical headliner act and light show that honors neighborhood trailblazers and Southside community icons.
