Resident Alien, End of the World As We Know It.
After falling into an icy crevasse last week, Harry (Alan Tudyk), Asta (Sara Tomko), and D Arcy (Alice Wetterlund) are in a whole mess of trouble. Even in mortal peril, Harry still knows how to expertly ruin the vibe when he insinuates that the ground crumbled because D Arcy was too heavy. It s not really an insinuation, though he just flat-out calls her fat. Luckily, Asta s father, Dan (Gary Farmer), notices that his daughter is missing and alerts Sheriff Thompson (Corey Reynolds) straight away.

Patience now has a new town physician who’s a walking, talking Google search for “perfectly handsome doctor genius, and his presence raises some serious questions. Like, how long will the doc be able to last here? Will Patience be the same with this added element? Does Harry’s growing emotional repertoire now include jealousy?

Ever since he survived the crash landing, Harry (Alan Tudyk) has been on one heck of a lucky streak: the plum job, the (sometimes) adoring women, the Pottery Barn-looking digs. This good fortune gets tested, though, when Mayor Ben (Levi Fiehler) introduces Dr. Ethan Rose (Michael Cassidy), Harry’s replacement.
Why are there two Harrys? Well, one of them looks pretty decomposed, which leads us to speculate that next week s installment is going for
An American Werewolf in London sort of gag, where alien Harry (played by Alan Tudyk) meets the human Harry (also Tudyk) he killed back in the pilot. Is it a dream or are corpses reanimating in Patience, Colorado? Also, are we saying the name Harry too much? In any case, rotting-flesh Harry has some harsh words for his alien counterpart: You completely failed. That makes you human.
Oooh, we know that probably stings to hear for a haughty alien like Harry. As Fode said in

For those seeking small-town examples of strong women challenging the patriarchy, look no further than Deputy Liv Baker (Elizabeth Bowen). Soft-spoken and insecure, Baker is still no shrinking violet. For although she s been relegated to getting the Sheriff s coffee and translating his language from rated R to something a bit more family-friendly, she has a much better handle on the case of the severed foot (read: the real Harry s foot) than her boss does.
When their all-night lake cruise fails to produce a body, Baker consults the current tide schedule and realizes the corpse must have washed up onshore. Baker uses science and her powers of deduction to arrive at a (quite accurate) conclusion. Meanwhile, Sheriff Thompson (Corey Reynolds) gets there by relying on his, um, primal instinct: I can feel it. In my balls. That sounds. inadmissible in

The premise: Harry Vanderspeigle (Alan Tudyk) is an alien scientist who has crash landed on Earth and disguises himself as a human doctor. He has a secret mission to kill all humans, but when Harry begins to assimilate into his new world he starts to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his clandestine operation.
