More than 250 Pleasanton students recently participated in a banner-making project curated by the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council in order to help the kids and teens regain a sense of community after the toll of the pandemic years.
Livermore is starting to become known for its public art installations throughout the city, particularly the large murals dispersed throughout downtown on various building walls. The newest one also sends a message to Dream Big .
“Conversation Pieces,” a free, outdoor exhibit of six hand-painted banners created by Tri-Valley youths, will open at the Bankhead Theater Plaza in Livermore on Sunday, Oct. 17.
An invitational youth exhibit titled Conversation Pieces brought together young artists from throughout the Tri-Valley to collaborate on a series of hand-painted banners, including student members of the Tri-Valley Writers group.
