A real estate investment trust based in California paid SM Signature Place LLC $28.6 million for a West Des Moines apartment complex, Polk County real estate records show. The complex, Signature Place Apartments at 210 S. Prairie View Drive, includes 261 units spread over seven three-story buildings. The complex, constructed in 1997, includes garages as well. The real estate trust fund, VA7 Jordan Creek LLC,is based in Irvine, Calif.

Dupaco Community Credit Union paid Hurd Waukee 2 LLC $1.3 million for property at 1090 E. Hickman Road in Waukee, Dallas County real estate records show. The property includes 1.76 acres of vacant commercial ground valued at $180,500. In November, the Dubuque-based credit union announced its plans to build the full-service learning lab branch in Waukee. The facility is expected to open in 2022. The transaction was recorded Dec. 7.
Forestar USA Real Estate Group Inc. based in Austin, Texas, paid Phillips Hamilton Inc. $1.78 million for 38 acres of agriculture land in Waukee, records show. The property is west and north Waukee’s Parks and Recreation Department’s offices at 805 University Ave. The transaction was recorded Dec. 8.
