Circuit Court Judge Charles Simms issued a temporary restraining order Wednesday, bringing a halt to the Nelson County School System’s plans to remake its school campuses with a host of new construction projects. The judge’s order came in response to Don Thrasher’s request for a restraining order to prevent Nelson County Schools from moving forward with its construction plans just days ahead of two new members being seated on the Nelson County School Board.
