Richmond Public Schools welcomed one new principal and five new interim principals with the start of a new school year and Superintendent Jason Kamras used his daily newsletter, RPS Direct, to give each of the appointees a brief introduction last Thursday.
The teen was nabbed Tuesday in connection to the Aug. 21 shooting of 24-year-old Abdolaye Ba outside the Best Food Mini Market on Blake Avenue near Pennsylvania Avenue in East New York – down the block from Thomas Jefferson High School – just before 3:30 p.m. Aug. 21, police said.
This Northern Virginia high school has been on the top of the list for the last three years; but in 2023, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology dropped to fifth in U.S. News & World Report’s “Best High School Rankings.”
