amber reporter: it s been 3-1/2 hours since the hit-and-run took place but this is still a very active scene. the little girl lives in the apartment complex you see on the right hand of your screen. the little girl was hit by the car as she was crossing the street. she and her 7-year-old sister often played out here by themselves. around 6:30, police received a 911 call reporting the 911. when they arrived they found the little girl on the roadway. the little girl was air lifted to children s hospital in own land in oakland. she is suffering injuries to her head and legs but she is expected to survive. she was crying, he was in a lot of pain. her parents were just yelling at each other. blaming each other and they didn t know what to do. the mother was hysterical. reporter: it does not have a camper shell, and investigators say there may be damage to the passenger side front headlines. they re asking anyone with information to call the concord police right away. repo
