Select Board member Chris Stark said after a fatal crash in July of 2021, which occurred between the Surry Post Office and The Gatherings building, that the board consulted with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, the Maine Department of Transportation as well as residents about how to improve traffic and pedestrian safety.
