Blockchain platform Telos, today announced a partnership with pNetwork to bring liquidity to its DeFi ecosystem. pNetwork is the decentralized governance layer running pTokens, a cross-chain system allowing assets to move freely between blockchains. Telos now supports pTokens’ pBTC, connecting Bitcoin to Telos. The token is pegged 1:1 to Bitcoin, and is compatible with other DeFi networks including Ethereum.

Announced this week, pNetwork, an interoperability solution for blockchains, is partnering with the Algorand Foundation to introduce cross-chain solutions on the Algorand blockchain.
The Foundation, the leading development firm of Algorand, granted pNetwork an undisclosed amount to enhance the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem via “pNetwork bridges” in order to boost asset liquidity and NFT transfers across blockchains.
Algorand Foundation team will mentor and work with the pNetwork development team in creating Algorand-focused bridges allowing users to connect and communicate with other blockchains and external assets, a statement to our desks reads.

Algorand and pNetwork have announced a partnership that will bring more connectivity to the Algorand ecosystem with an external network. The partners will launch a cross-chain bridge with major platforms across the crypto industry.
To achieve their objective, the Algorand Foundation gave pNetwork a grant to create a bridge powered by its platform. Thus, Algorand will be able to build a connection with other networks, assets, tokens, dApps, and smart contracts.
Algorand will benefit from an increase in assets and tokens liquidity and have a bigger role in relevant market sectors, such as DeFi and NFTs.
