Auf Einladung des Rückertkreises Erlangen war der Rückert-Arbeitskreis aus Oberlauringen Gast bei einem Gegenbesuch in Erlangen. In Erlangen hatte der Dichter und Orientalist Friedrich Rückert von 1826 bis 1841 als Professor für orientalische Sprachen an der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität geforscht und gelehrt. Mit seiner Familie war er in der Stadt mehrfach umgezogen. Die Wohnungen waren für seine rasch wachsende Familie (es wurden zehn Kinder geboren) zu klein geworden. Der dortige Rückertkreis widmet sich der Forschung und dem Andenken an den Dichter.
