Guns N Roses share pro-filmed footage of live Black Hole Sun cover

Guns N’ Roses latest installment of their Not In This Lifetime Selects YouTube series is a special one. The nearly 32-minute long video, which shares professionally filmed footage from the band s performance at last year s Exit 111 festival, includes the band s cover of Soundgarden s iconic Black Hole Sun, along with “Live and Let Die”, “Shadow of Your Love”, “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door”, and “Paradise City.
The Not In This Lifetime Selects series highlights performances from the band s tour of the same name. GN’R started playing “Black Hole Sun” during that tour in honor of Soundgarden s late frontman Chris Cornell after his tragic death on May 18, 2017. They first covered it live on May 27, 2017 at Slane Castle in Ireland.
