TRAFFORD: Plans for more than 400 homes in Partington to be decided this week

Across two separate applications, 449 homes are going to Trafford council’s planning committee. The first would see 151 homes on land off Hall Lane in Partington from Countryside Properties. The application, for full planning permission, for land sitting along the Manchester ship canal in the village includes a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes. It was submitted by Countryside Properties and Peel Investments in February. The initial planning statement said there would be 25 two-bedroom homes, 111 three-bedroom homes and 20 four bedroom homes – a total of 156. That number has now been slightly reduced. There are set to be 78 affordable houses on site, along with 15 properties for private rent.
