Iraqi Security Forces have been pushing forward in a major offensive aimed at taking full control of their second largest city, mosul, from so called islamic state. The city was seized more than two years ago as is moved into northern and western iraq. The offensive to remove the group began last october, with iraqi troops securing the eastern part of mosul last month.
