There was some turbulence brewing in the life of country singer-songwriter Mark Leach circa 2019.
Leach, who recently turned 30, had been living in Nashville for about five years, hoping to catch a break like so many other hopefuls, and he d fallen into a rut. I kind of lost myself there at one point. Nashville has a tendency to do that to people. You have to go out all the time to meet people, and if you do that enough you start to realize you re drinking too much, said Leach, who s been living in Canal Fulton since COVID-19 hit.
Being pulled over for a DUI in Nashville in March 2019 was a literal come-to-Jesus moment for Leach.
