Según un descubrimiento hecho por los jugadores,
Sea of Thieves tendría una nueva colaboración con Disney. Lo que encontraron los jugadores fue un huevo de pascua escondido dentro de la reciente expansión de Piratas del Caribe, A Pirat’s Life. Los jugadores han encontrado un secreto que no tiene nada que ver con el capitán Jack y su banda de piratas, sino que se centra en otra propiedad adquirida por Disney.
