In addition to its famous deep dish offerings, Lou Malnati s Pizzeria will be delivering jobs to Buffalo Grove when it opens its new home office in the village next year.
The 50-year-old pizza giant plans to consolidate several properties at 900-950 Busch Parkway in the spring of 2022. It intends to use the space for a national e-commerce manufacturing plant and fulfillment center, as well as a home office.

Jeff Sode was well ahead of Sandra Jo McClain in the race to elect a new Wauconda village president.
Early returns show Sode with 532 votes and McClain with 152 votes.
The winner will replace Village President Lincoln Knight, who did not seek reelection but instead is running for Wauconda Township supervisor.
Sode is a current village board trustee, while McClain is a social worker making her first run at public office.

With all precincts reporting, updated totals late Tuesday showed Jeff Sode was well ahead of Sandra Jo McClain in the race to elect a new Wauconda village president.
Updated unofficial returns showed Sode with 630 votes and McClain with 180 votes.
The winner will replace Village President Lincoln Knight, who did not seek reelection but instead is running for Wauconda Township supervisor.

In the race for mayor in Wauconda, current village Trustee Jeff Sode is being challenged by Sandra Jo McClain, a social worker making her first run at public office who says the village isn t responding well enough to residents concerns.
Mayor Lincoln Knight is not seeking reelection but instead is challenging incumbent Glenn Swanson for Wauconda Township Supervisor.
Three village trustee positions also are up for election April 6, but only the mayor s race is contested. Sode has two more years left on his term as trustee, so if he loses to McClain, he would remain on the board.
