Traditionally the day after Black Friday is Small Business Saturday. Small shops around Western New York participating to kick-start the holiday shopping season, highlighting small businesses and encouraging you to buy local.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) â If you re looking for something to do this weekend, a Buffalo favorite is making its return.
Organizers for the Elmwood Village Farmers Market at Elmwood Avenue and Bidwell Parkway say the farmers market will run on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., rain or shine, starting on May 8 through November.
This is the 23rd season of the Elmwood Village Farmers Market.
âThe Farmers Market is the place to support local growers, access fresh produce and locally made goods, and strengthen your community, says Therese Deutschlander, president, Elmwood Village Association.
