OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) Thanks to an anonymous donor, the Oshkosh Area School District received $100,000 toward enhanced education.
The funds will be used this year and into the future to support new and innovative programming through teacher-driven funding requests that fall outside a school’s budget.
“We are truly humbled and grateful for this generous donor who appreciates what the Oshkosh Education Foundation does for students, staff, and schools in the Oshkosh Area School District,” said Theresa Duren, Oshkosh Education Foundation Director. “This remarkable gift will provide a lasting impact for many years to come.”
Previously, the Foundation has provided financial support to various student-focused initiatives including the new Fab Lab at Oshkosh North High School, Grab-and-Go Meals for those in need, and grants for teachers.
