Alcohol sales in Frisco skyrocketed after Gov. Greg Abbott, on March 10, ended the statewide mask mandate and reopened businesses and bars, many of which had been closed or operating at limited capacity.
Frisco restaurants and bars reported more than $6.6 million in alcohol sales in April, a month-over-month increase of about $400,000. In February, local restaurants and bars reported roughly $4.5 million in alcohol sales, seeing an increase of nearly 47% since the state has fully reopened.
