act and the president s team is continuing to repeat, well, we have all of these important ties with saudi arabia. there s no sense that they re pressing strongly. meanwhile, i hear my colleagues talking about using the various levers we have, the foreign assistance act, the arms export control act, the war powers act. we saw, in fact, 44 members of the senate in a bipartisan fashion support the sanders/lee/murphy proposal that is related to stopping support for saudi arabia s assault on yemen, both stop the fueling of the planes by american planes and stop the intelligence sharing. so already, even before this happened, there s been a lot of concern about saudi behavior in the world and the complicity of the united states. do you think that there s any chance that congress would step in and try to block this arms deal that the president has kept talking about? or is that off the table at this point? no, it s not off it s not off the table. most of the focus has been on the preci
