stand, he told ms. busby he just didn t remember. he argued to the court that he was lying about something else. he says the escalator hincapie says he ran down was working just fine and it was moving up not down. he made the ridiculous claim he went down the up escalator. but perhaps the most dramatic part of the hearing was prosecutor hurley s cross-examination of johnny hincapie himself. hurley argued that hincapie was making up the whole story about falsely confessing. and it is the first time that you have ever alleged to a court that your confession was coerced by detective casey physically abusing you and making you memorize a story, is that correct? correct. the detective wasn t called to testify, but we tracked him down, and he denied ever abusing hincapie. hurley moved on to that letter. please believe me, please

in our own caucus. bill: they have made it no secret they won t hold back. do they speak for you, sir? it depends on the issue. i speak for myself. bill: where do you agree with them? well, i think where i agree with them is that we have to create an economy that allows everyone to get on the up escalator of the economy. if you are working poor you should be able to get to the middle class. middle class survive and prosper. if you want to start a small business and help your community and country we want you to succeed as well. sandra: interesting. the green new deal, where do you fall on that? well, it s bold. it sets a goal. but i think my constituents are asking two questions. one, who is going the pay for it? two, what are the details? those are the types of questions we always get from our constituents and so until those get answered i m still looking and learning. sandra: we all would like to know the details of that.
