ORIGINAL POST: Sunday is Valentine s Day and local healthcare workers at eight area hospitals are going to get a special treat thanks to The Simple Church and the Giving Bak Foundation.
This Sunday, February 14, 2021, from 8 am - 8 pm, in an effort to show our area healthcare workers how much they are appreciated and provide encouragement, the two entities expect to supply 2,500 meals and even give out some special prizes. Local businesses have stepped up to provide some incredible gifts like a Big Green Egg from Tubb s Hardware, a two-night stay at Margaritaville Resort Casino, a year s worth of pizza from Johnny s Pizza House, a year s worth of chicken fingers from Raising Cane s, and more.
