Trade unionists from various sectors of activity and civilian and military retirees protested on Sunday against abusive decisions taken by the authorities, in front of the headquarters of the Romanian Government and several relevant embassies and institutions of the central public administration.
The protest actions were organized by the Meridican National Trade Union Confederation, the Union of Retired Military Personnel/National Council of Civil Society, the railway unions, the Federation of Pensioners Unions, etc. and took place between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.
The protesters demands concern: the cancellation of the GEOs and of the draft GEOs assumed by the new Government from the installation until now, especially in the fiscal, budgetary and legal fields; immediate application of the provisions of the Organic Laws regarding salaries, pensions and allowances, with the cancellation of the unconstitutional provisions introduced by GEOs 95/2014, 57/2015
