center stage at today s seaworld hearing showing the trainer s violent death who drowned last year when a killer whale dragged her underwater. seaworld is currently appealing a $75,000 fine and allegations that it could have but failed to prevent her death. phil keating live in the miami with more on that case. phil? reporter: hi, jon. it s been a riveting and emotional day in the courtroom so far, but at this point the labor department attorneys have yet to try and introduce that gruesome videotape, seaworld underwater cameras showing the brutal attack. when they do which is expected to happen after the lunch break, seaworld attorneys will immediately object. in the court this morning, though, this videotape was played, it s home video taken by a new hampshire tourist on that gruesome, brutal attack day by the killer whale. these are some of the final moments of trainer dawn bran
8-minute attack which, of course, took the life of dawn brancheau. they started out the testimony this morning by showing first a google map of the sea world-orlando location, specifically shamu stadium, then they got a security guard who was there on that day back in 2010 who saw this horrifying, brutal attack by the killer whale, tilikum, and then he on the stand described exactly what he saw and they rolled the videotape taken by a new hampshire tourist family and that shows from basically the third row of the specktating area, it shows dawn brancheau touching the whale, handing him fish, putting the fish in his mouth, even retrieving a fish from his tongue at one moment, and then in the very final moments, you see her lying in one of the shallow areas where you see the typically the killer whale will beach itself up there and be fed fish. she s actually lying on that area, smiling big, and of course, doing the job that

what it is about is about the willful negligence of endangering their killer whale trainers that was concluded by the osha investigators. seaworld does not want to have that official label because they maintain they are not jeopardizing the lives of their trainers. tilikum is the 12,000 pound killer whale who has killed a total of three people in its life in captivity. however, there were no guardrails at the pool there at seaworld. and the osha investigation saw underwater camera video from seaworld, that shows most of the attack, but it does not show the initial pulling in of drawn brancheau the trainer. but the osha description is, the killer whale rammed her head on. grabbed her either by the arm or by the hair. took her underneath the water. she drowns. eight minutes later her lifeless body is floating up to the surface. then it says a third time
