what happens next? let s bring in buck sexton security expert and fellow with the clarion project ryan mauro and former cia station chief who served in moscow, iraq and pakistan daniel hoffman. gentlemen, good morning. daniel, let me start with you down there in washington. what is next? what are the options here? well, there are probably three options that are out there. the first is another military strike or series of military strikes against syria s chemical weapons facilities and storage facilities. there are also a couple other options. one is to try to create safe zones to protect the population. third, we could get some skin in the game and restart the support that we used to provide the to the syrian democratic forces. when i was chief of the middle east operations at cia a few years back and we were considering all the threats resulting from this petri dish that is syria now, we all believed at the time that to get to dealing with those threats, you needed to remove assad.
country, are we going to continue to do more of the same? or are we going to finally take a step back and evaluate the processes in this country and actually do something about it? what about the muslims already in the u.s. katrina? well this doesn t apply to them. there are three million in this country. and in they are not planning to kill americans they have nothing to worry about. what about but what we do know is that we have eighty radicalized mosques in this country. what data is that from project? the clarion project has hosted a entire list about it. and they have themselves have radicalized individuals or they are hosting radicalized individuals. we also know from san bernardino that the neighbors were afraid to say something. they were multi million people going in and out of that house. we can t just say there were only two involved here.ple peop
nothing about platform and policy. his platform is personality. i m imploring the republicans, support someone who values what our country is about. that may be coming back. it s more damning to say something about the electorate than it is to say something about donald trump. go ahead, katrina. that s what we hear a lot on the republican side or the conservative side is anyone who speaks the truth is obviously spewing hate. that s exactly what donald trump is speaking is the truth. let me point back in 2009, anderson cooper, on cnn, ran a special called uncovering america, which identified muslims in america that were, in fact, radicalized. and the good news is, the clarion project has released a map of where all the radical mosques are. there are 80 out of 2100. yes, we should absolutely be watching those mosques. why are we even having this discussion right now? we have a thing called the u.s. constitution.
that s one thing. you appear to not like the content as well. well, that s not true. you had a smiley face because a university cancelled it. the clarion project is a well known islam phobic organization. here s what i m trying to get at. your side needs to be represented. we tried that. i understand you don t like the group that made the film. the film stands or falls based on its own content. i m asking you, what about the content in this film do you not like? we don t have a problem with the content of the film. there are women who participated in this film what i m
disgusted by is that someone like the clarion project would take this film and use it to promote their own hate filled agenda. that s my problem with this movie. it s unbelievable because care is obviously protesting the content of the film. it s an indefensible position. the audience deserves to know who the council is. it s soul purpose, it was set up to be the pr arm of the muslim brotherhood. that is not true. that is a lie. that is true. it has connections to hamas, founded by two people who are deeply connected to hamas, the former counterism chief said that care aids international terrorism groups. care has ties to terrorism, everybody knows that, and the founders have intimately this is not true at all. americans can and cannot see. care acts as the speech police.
