of an american official. what kind of country is that. reporter: experts who track extremism say in recent months there has been an uptick in violent threats, talk of civil war and trump it at the center of it. a major flash point the fbi search of mar-a-lago. every time he puts out a new statement it leads to a dramatic uptick in violent rhetoric across fringe platforms. reporter: lock and load read one response to the fbi search on a pro trump form. another user replied are we not in a cold civil war at that point? that poster turned out to be a washington state man who has pleaded guilty to unawfully entering the capitol on january 6. his account identified by the group advanced democracy. posts like this on right wing forums a cause for concern but it s not just anonymous on line trolls beating the civil war drum. democrats want republicans dead and they have already started the killings. we are the closest to civil war two we have ever been. they plan on having a civil
