dana: michael walsh former green beret commander had this to say earlier. let s listen in. this is justice eight years in the making since he walked off his base in 2009. this is justice for not only the soldiers, the men and women who were directly involved in the search for him, but all of the ones all across saf began stan who were starved of assets that they normally would have had. he doesn t even deserve the honor of being called a pow, in my mind. he needs to be called a deserter. dana: michael, because he was there and he was leading men in that fight, have very strong feelings because lives were lost. people were injured in the search for him. everybody s got strong feelings about this. i mean, because up and down the entire chain of command is enormous frustration about what took place. listen, we were gonna go after him anyway regardless of the fact that he deserted his post. we re not just gonna abandon an american soldier.
