As we go forward and move ahead into Tuesday, July 2, 2019 we re looking at another sunny day, all the better as we prepare to celebrate Independence Day. Are you ready for July 4 fireworks at Mills Park? As a Tuesday warmup, get the heart pumping during Muscle Powered s three fitness outings.
Fourth of July celebrations abound in the Carson City area. Fireworks can be found in Carson City, Reno, Sparks, and at both north and south shore of Lake Tahoe. There are several daytime events going on as well, so grab the kids, friends, and family and have a great Independence Day weekend!
Let’s give this outdoors thing another try. Yesterday’s Jazz and beyond performances were moved indoors at the Brewery Arts Center when the rain hit, but I have more hope for today’s skies. Look for The Other Brothers Band this evening in the Comma Coffee Courtyard.
The Nevada Artists Association (NAA) invites the public to the Grand Re-Opening of its gallery at 449 King Street in Carson City from 4-6 PM on Saturday, February 24. The event, which will include live music and refreshments, also marks the opening of the Winter Show, a judged show open to members and non-members alike.
The Brewery Arts Center received special permission to screen “Once upon a Main Street”, the new Lifetime movie shot at the Brewery Arts Center along with several locations in Carson City and Carson Valley.
