Guest House Coffee & Pastries offers feelings of home

Laura Elliott When we live from an open heart, we are able to reach the hearts of others, inspiring a sense of home wherever we may be. The spirit of our words and actions carry through in our conversations, our creations, and in our service. The first time I walked into Guest House Coffee & Pastries in downtown Lincoln, I felt this open-hearted spirit. The inquiry of my well-being was genuine and my drink was served with attentive care. I was made to feel welcome, as if a guest in one’s home. I spoke with Ethan Hoinacki, coffee aficionado and owner of Guest House, to hear the story behind this friendly customer service. In fact, it was Ethan’s own experience as a welcomed guest that inspired the name of his shop.
