SA under-23 coach David Notoane and Molefi Ntseki are set to be named as new Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos assistants in the coming days.
Ntseki met Broos twice this week to discuss the finer details of the deal and will join the Belgian on the bench before Bafana begin the qualifiers for the 2022 Soccer World Cup in September.
Ntseki s manager Thato Matuka confirmed on Saturday that a proposal was on the table, and the former Bafana coach was set to return to the national team just weeks after he was sacked by the SA Football Association (Safa) after SA s failure to qualify for next year s Africa Cup of Nations.

The SA Football Association (Safa) has finally parted ways “amicably” with former Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki.
Ntseki was shown the door by Safa more than a month ago after Bafana failed to qualify for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) in Cameroon next year and has since been replaced by Belgian Hugo Broos.
But there was talk that he could be retained in some capacity after Safa began the search for his replacement.
Ntseki was appointed as Bafana head coach in August 2019 after serving as assistant to Stuart Baxter for two years‚ where they reached the quarterfinals of the 2019 Afcon in Egypt.
The legal counsel will then advise Ntseki and Matuka on what action to take from there onwards. It s not a question of happy or unhappy, the contents warranted for us to seek legal advice, Matuka told Maybe we re not reading it correctly, this is why we wanted a legal person to interpret it better for us, and guide us on the way forward.
Matuka also confirmed that Safa is yet to meet with Ntseki for an exit interview even though it is a mandatory process after every parting of ways. Again, maybe it is how we parted, it was not normal, he said.
