Undaunted by opening a food business in the midst of the COVID pandemic, Emily O’Brien is offering up sugary and savory dishes at her pop-up, Sweet & Sage Patisserie.
The bakery is the 24-year-old’s first business. The Brighton resident and Brookline native is happy she was able to open the doors to her small venture so close to home at The Street in Chestnut Hill.
O’Brien whips up her creations for Sweet & Sage at a Woburn commercial kitchen early in the morning so they’re fresh each day.
She said officially the bakery will be open through the end of 2021, although it could be longer. O’Brien detailed more about the treat shop.
