Sensational talented actress Mithila Palkar shot to fame with the web series Little Things. Mithila enjoys a wide fan base across the country. She made her film debut in a lead role with the 2018 Hindi comedy-drama Karwaan. Mithila is also a noted name in the Marathi film space. Now, she is all set to make her debut in Telugu.
Mithila is playing one of the female leads in the Telugu remake of Oh My Kadavule. Vishwak Sen is playing the lead hero in this movie. Ashwin Marimuthu, who directed the original, is also helming the Telugu version. The film was launched a few weeks back. Tharun Bhascker Dhassyam is writing the dialogues of the film.

The last time Lakshmi Manchu appeared in a lead role for a film was W/O Ram (2018) even as she worked in the Tamil film Kaatrin Mozhi and a web series Mrs Subbalakshmi. The producer-turned-actor insists the gap wasn’t intentional as she had been shooting for her Netflix original anthology film Pitta Kathalu. “Can we please delete 2020 from our lives because it has not been of any use to us?” quips Lakshmi Manchu in a telephonic interview with the Cinema Express. She continues, “We started Pitta Kathalu in 2019 and wrapped it up on January 3, 2020. And, it’s releasing finally on February 12 this year due to Covid-19 induced lockdown.”
