Thanksgiving is typically the busiest travel holiday of the year. While that alone can be troublesome, will Mother Nature add to any of those travel headaches in the week ahead?
Can you imagine how many turkeys have been consumed on Thanksgiving Day throughout the years? Just this past year, 46 million turkeys were purchased prior to Thanksgiving Day. If the average turkey weighed 16 pounds, that would mean about 736 million pounds of turkey were consumed on Thanksgiving Day 2023. Burp! Belch! That’s a lot of turkey!
