attendants and even threaten to hijack the plane. there s nothing funny about this, this is deadly serious. tell us why. you know, it s very serious. flight attendants are the last line of defense and we re aviation s first responders. we are the first responders that are in charge of making sure that your flight arrives safely. and if sometimes the safety duties that we re performing you re not even aware of. you don t even see it because you re used to us smiling and maybe serving you a coke, but it s not appropriate to give you a drink and then be punched in the face. we have to have compliance and, remember, it s about safety onboard the aircraft. arthel: indeed it is, and you guys do a fine job. unfortunately, you re right, it is often times a thankless job. but we appreciate what you re doing up there, and i want you to stay safe and hopefully news fines can curtail some of this insanity. lynn montgomery, thank you very much. thank you. arthel: eric? eric: let s thank flight
catch me at the sizzler buffet line. yeah. the price of celebrity. it s hell. neil: i hear you. as if he were preaching to the choir. he was a hot commodity. recruited to work his midas touch on sprucing up the statue of liberty and maybe running for the president of the united states. he s flattered but that s where it ended. everybody wants to run for president. it s a thankless job. neil: they wanted you to run nor awhile. you poo-pooed it. 20 years ago. neil: i remember distinctly. why did you say no? i went to see tip o neal. he said you have be crazy. running a corporation doesn t work that way. i said should i run? he said no. give the money back. they raised $12 million. i gave it back. he said you wouldn t fit the
conclusions even if they re not detailed and wait and see if there s a strategy for not providing some of it or all of it. can i make one larger point before we get it the minutia and this is the inflection point in the investigation. i don t think it s the end because there are other cases that were signed by the special counsel s office. i think this is where people i should take a moment and give some thank tuesday robert mueller who did a thankless job. no matter when about the conclusions are there s going to be tens of millions of people angry with him after he spent most of his life in public service representing the country both at war and in court. and we used to have a practice in the southern district, you know, after someone has tried a good case you want to give the compliment before you know what the result is because a jury can sometimes you know go the other way, way different than the way
thing but i hope the democrats figure out some way to unite. just a couple of things. one, back to the stacey abrams speech. that s a very difficult job. that s the best response democrat or republican i can remember in some years. it s a very difficult job. it s a thankless job. also, you learn about the differences between the two parties. she talked about voting rights. she talked about climate change and she talked about guns. well did not hear any of those subjects from the president of the united states. democrats believe that animates their coalition. they believe it helps them, and they believe especially on the issue of climate change, especially on the issue of voting right, it helps them to talk about things the president won t talk about. you can shrug all you want. the republicans don t support any of those things. why would you talk about them? well, all americans should want our president, whatever the disagreements are, just look at his own national security revie
