‘‘Oh I can’t be bothered,” say the people who, well, can’t be bothered to use SPF. I get it. The thought of adding another skincare step is exhausting. So I’m not going to preach – we all know the risk of skin cancer. However, I would like to throw in another reason to use sunscreen. Most skincare now has active ingredients that exfoliate, brighten, smooth, correct, etc. If you are using anything of the sort then your skin is more susceptible to damage from UV rays. This means, without sunscreen, the dullness, premature ageing, fine lines and pigmentation issues you think you are resolving are not really going anywhere.
