Seriously tonight. A short time ago, the u. S. Central command, the coalition, announced it is opening a formal assessment into whether on march 17th, in west mosul, it may have dropped bombs that killed a significant large number, perhaps, perhaps hundreds of civilians. So issue right now, nobody knows exactly what happened. All of this began to emerge over the last couple of days as Social Media Activists in the area began to report large numbers of Civilian Casualties due to bombings in west mosul where there is very tough fighting against isis. The picture has been pretty murky because theres so many conflicting reports, and the u. S. Doesnt have anybody on the ground there that can put eyeballs on the situation and really verify it. But the pentagon, the coalition today, a short time ago, said that theyve been able to
determine that, yes, they did conduct the air strikes in one of these areas where the allegations have emerged from on march 17th. Iraqi officials on the ground are
safe from the cia, the fbi, and others. they have a world of expertise in the countries that we re concerned about. can i ask yes? reportedly, the president is furious, really mad about this. why do you think he s so mad? you know, i think the president is showing flashes of desperation. the fact that you would hire career professionals to do the work of the house intellect committee on intelligence, shouldn t concern the president of the united states. i think some of the people we re talking about are career workers who were involved in the obama administration. i think to believe the president and any of his concerns are to believe some sort of deep-state conspiracy. we re not he s implying that they re snatching people from his inner circle who are going to reveal critical information about the president of the united states. yeah. it s simply not true. it s the committee doing its work, bringing on qualified people. representative mike quigley, i appreciate your
him, they wouldn t call on him. they did. it would seem there s a problem right there to make that case, isn t there? there are several problems. they talk out of both sides of their mouths. they say the first reason they revoked it is because a physical assault on an intern. there s an infowars doctored d vid video. it belies the nation they re saying, hold afternoonon a secoe a problem with jim acosta. this is a matter that they revoked it not based on content and viewpoint, they can say we routinely called upon the person though he s never asked questions we deemed to be favorable. on the other hand, you set it up and the president s own statements before that clearly show an animus toward me as a member of the press. all right. thank withdryou very much, laur coates. big development coming on that tomorrow. one of importance to everyone. next, president trump loves a presidential portrait. and you re going to see where this one popped up.
good to see you, gentle nmeb. thank withdryou. watch tonight. ron desantis and andrew gillum square off in a cnn debate tonight 8:00 own on cnn. still ahead, terrifying moments in south carolina when a floor collapses right under partygoers sends them plummeting to the basement. i ll talk with someone who was there and says he could feel something was about to happen. plus, the saudi foreign minister speaking out calling the murder of jamal khashoggi a, quote, rogue operation and saying the crown prince knew nothing of the plan. lawmak lawmakers, u.s. lawmakers, they re not buying that. just to be clear, you don t have any doubt that the crown prince is behind this? well, look, again, jake, my sense is that he is behind it.
it within the structure of the paris agreement or to break away and go our own way which is what the president ultimately decided. and there were some clues last week when we heard gary cohn on the foreign trip, i was there when he was tell ing reporters the president s thinking of climate change was evolving, leaning toward the european position, he was understanding these rules are not binding and can, in fact, renegotiate the terms of the emissions targets within the paris accord. some thought that s where he was headed but ultimately he decided to blow it all up and go his own way which is so much in keeping with how he campaigned and with what the nationalists like steve bannon have been urging him to do for many months. all right. thank withdryou so much for beih us, incredible reporting in your paper again. thank you, nicolle. so much winning. all right. when we come back, we re going to talk about how this impacts ivanka s brand coming out on the losing side of a big pr
