HYDERABAD: Widespread malaise of corruption is eating away national institutions like termites and there is a greater need today of corruption-free institutions for growth, development and progress of the country, Sindh University acting Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Siddique Kalhoro said on Wednesday.
Addressing a walk the university had organised to mark the World Anti-Corruption Day, he said that the new generation wanted corruption-free society and youth had decided to fight against corruption.
He expressed the hope that Pakistan would be a corruption-free country soon and the only way leading to a welfare society depended on sustainable merit and a justice system. He said society would have to join hands to eradicate the menace of corruption and the role of academia was more important in th
