More than $19 million is being invested to bring high-speed fibre-optic broadband internet connection to rural and First Nation communities in Chatham-Kent.
Southwestern Integrated Fibre Technology (SWIFT) announced Wednesday that contracts have been awarded to TekSavvy Solutions and Cogeco Connexion to expand high-speed internet access to 4,584 households and businesses across various areas of the municipality.
