CASPER — The University of Wyoming’s third annual Ranch Management and Agricultural Leadership (RMAL) seminar series begins Monday, Feb. 12, at Casper College.
Thad Berrett, Powder River District Ranger, is calling for comments on the Tensleep Climbing Management Plan project.
The project proposes to manage climbing and recreation in the Tensleep Canyon project area while protecting natural resources and providing diverse recreation opportunities.
A two-dozen strong team of volunteers from the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation pulled out rotting fence posts, rolled up barbed wire and installed new animal-friendly fencing along Hunter Creek in
Bighorn National Forest managers and members of the Forest Plan Steering Committee will attend a field trip on Thursday, Aug. 31. The trip will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Grouse Mountain parking area. The committee will tour locations of interest on the Powder River Ranger District.

Bighorn National Forest planners are seeking comments on the proposed action for the Pole Creek Vegetation Management project.
The Pole Creek project area is in the southeast corner of the Bighorn National Forest and is administered by the Powder River Ranger District. The purpose of this projec
