actually. that is the center of the storm. everybody is on the cold side of the storm. the only area that dealt with rain with this system was out here on cape cod. you notice some of the snow is breaking up from philly southward to d.c. so hopefully the roads will be cleared by midday or so. i think it s not going to be until this evening for much of new england. it s still going to be blowing around. makes it very difficult to plow. they go by once and an hour later it s back on. you can see in new york city finally a little bit of a break. the first break they ve had in 12 hours. still snowing very hard, though. central and southern jersey was the bulls eye. we ll see some reports close to 30 inches i m sure from ocean counties. long island, still snowing very hard. also in queens and hartford. light snow for you. the mall of new york to the birkshires, look for the heaviest snows currently coming down. behind me here, you also notice this band coming in from the ocean. it s snowing
