latest on the fight and the fallout. good evening. reporter: just a few days ago, twitter owner elon musk made headlines when he challenged meta ceo mark zuckerberg to a cage match. that cage match is still tbd but a legal battle between the two might actually be heating up. twitter is reportedly threatening to sue meta the parent company of facebook and instagram that is owned by zuckerberg alleging that a copy twitter with its remarkably similar new social media platform threads. that officially launched last night and is even being there for the twitter killer. in a letter published by the media reporter max bottani, musk s lawyers sent a cease and desist to zuckerberg claiming that mehta has engaged in systematic his appropriation of twitter s trade secrets and even hired a former twitter employees. musk responded to the lawsuit making headlines by tweeting, quote, competition is fine, cheating is not. fox news reached out to meta for comment. director andy stone respo
