Dallas Blooms 2021 Co-Chairs for America the Beautiful
Mary and Jerry Chandler are co-chairing the 2021 Dallas Blooms at Dallas Arboretum. The couple, who met in an algebra class at Fort Worth’s Texas Wesleyan College, have been married over fifty years. They take racked up 2,150 hours together as volunteers for Dallas Arboretum since starting in 2012.
Jerry Chandler said, “I asked her to go with me to my 21st birthday party. She said yes, and we just celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary.”

Originally from Fort Worth, the couple moved to Austin for work. They often visited their daughter, Kaycie, who introduced them to the Dallas Arboretum.
