what do the families who have lost so much think? sam brock now with that part of the story. reporter: as the weight of a mass shooting brings a community to its knees, parents in south texas are demanding more from the agencies tasked with protecting their children. these are children, fourth graders children that little girl should not to have covered herself in blood to survive that time frame that it took to get in and rescue her reporter: for these moms from san antonio, they say accountability above all else is what they re looking for. i trust that when i send my children to school each day they will be safe their school resource officer will be there. the doors will be secured. the local police are going to take action reporter: the texas state public safety director today unable to explain why the school resource officer wasn t on campus or why the on-scene commander misjudged an ongoing active shooter threat. we are not here to defend what happened we re here to r
