It will not be able to predict . But the app can alert users to take cover and prepare seconds before shaking, the shaking of a major quake reaches them. The system uses sensors buried in the ground across the state and it detects the start of earthquake, calculates the location and intensity and send a warning to your phone if youre in an area where shaking is likely to happen.
