Texas Expands COVID Vaccine Eligibility March 15th
If you are age 50 to 64 and a Texas resident, you will be eligible to receive the COVID vaccine as a 1C eligible recipient on March 15th, according to the Texas Dept of Health and Human Services.
In January Texas was having issues with receiving enough of the COVID vaccine to vaccinate the front line workers, healthcare, and those with health issues as well as those 65 and older, known as 1A and 1B qualified candidates. As more pharmaceutical companies were released to offer the COVID vaccine, the strain lessened for the nation, and vaccines became more readily available.
