Balmy today, stormy tomorrow in North Texas North Texans should enjoy warm temperatures and a little sunshine Monday before the chance of severe storms returns to the forecast Tuesday. As of early Monday the Storm Prediction Center had placed all of North Texas at Slight Risk of severe storms Tuesday. The risk area extends from southern Kansas into the Texas Big Bend. The forecast is similar to that which produced tornadoes and large hail Friday. The SPC expects storms to develop to the west of Wichita Falls in the afternoon or evening and move east. Tornado danger is pegged as low with a greater risk of large hail and isolated heavy rain. Storms may continue into Wednesday and chances of rain and more storms continue through Thursday.
