BearAid is Baylor’s disaster relief outreach team, where students partner with Baylor Spiritual Life to meet needs in Texas and across the country after national disasters like tornadoes, ice storms and floods. As those in Maui begin to look at the damage left behind by wildfires, crews from across the country are heading to Hawaii to assist in the clean up and recovery, including Texas Baptist Men.
Texas Baptist Men says it’s working with partner organizations on getting things like water, food and clothes to those in need. The group hopes to send in its trained volunteers to help with disaster recovery as soon as possible.
