After a nightmarish week characterized by blackouts and water failure, power has slowly flowed back to most homes in Fort Bend County. While water too has been restored, several areas and municipal utility districts remain under a boil-water notice, meaning all tap water should be boiled prior to consumption because it may contain harmful microbes.
