The water is like bath water in the gulf of mexico and what these storms need to fuel themselves as they get stronger is the warm temperatures of the gulf of mexico and the upperlevel winds in the atmosphere are helping this storm to breeze. The tropical models are in consensus, it is going to make landfall whether it is a 2 or three doesnt matter.
