A Sussex Borough man was killed Friday in a crash on Route 6 in Pike County, Pennsylvania, authorities said in a press release.
Edward Faber III, 53, died at the scene of the 5 a.m. crash near Twin Lakes Drive in Shohola Township, Pennsylvania State Police said on Monday.
Faber was traveling east in a 1999 Ford Expedition when he lost control of the SUV around a curve and went off the roadway. The vehicle rolled three times and Faber was ejected, police said.
Milford fire and ambulance squads assisted at the scene.
Faber leaves behind a daughter, his parents and three siblings, according to an obituary posted by the Testa Memorial Funeral Home in Totowa. A Paterson native, Faber also lived in Jefferson Township and Pennsylvania for a time before moving to Sussex County. He worked as a contractor with DNC Contracting in Newton.
